If your customers don't expect to use your mobile app 2 - 3 times a day (in other words, use it like they use their toothbrush), then the odds are the majority of your customers will not download your mobile app.
I know it hurts to hear that, but we have over 13+ years of mobile app user experiences to prove it. Given the small screen real estate on our smartphones, we just don't have the physical space or mental energy to download and use an app for every single brand we interact with in any given day.
